Are you searching for meaning or purpose in your life? For a community where you can belong? For a way to give back? Whether you are a lifelong Christian or have never been to church before, we invite you to join us on your journey of faith here at Central. Our church family has roots in Canton going back over a century. Today, we are still passionate about the same life-changing good news: that because of Jesus, we can be forgiven and have a relationship with God!

Our mission: Canton Central United Methodist Church
exists to make known the love of Jesus Christ to all.

Our vision: Come up the hill to be nourished…
…Leave equipped to feed our neighbors!

Our congregation’s vision is based on our church’s unique position on a hill overlooking downtown Canton and Jesus’s instructions to “feed his lambs” (John 21:15-17) by meeting their spiritual and physical needs. Church members and friends are encouraged to be involved in at least one “up the hill” and one “down the hill” ministry, as we seek to grow in our love for God and others (Luke 10:27).
